Astrology-My Opinion

Horoscopes, palm readings, astrology, etc. are getting on my very last nerve.  There are billions of people in this world, and according to the people who genuinely believe this stuff, there are only twelve different types of people.

I honestly find horoscopes fascinating, i even have an app on my phone that tells me my daily one.  However, that doesn’t mean I believe in them.  I apologize if this offends anybody, but I believe astrology to be a source of ignorance.

I have thought it over, and my thoughts on why people believe in this is that people have a desire to be told who they are.  They don’t want to actually go out, and mold their own person. They would rather be told who they are supposed to be and live that way.

If I downloaded 5 different horoscope apps on my phone, I guarantee I am going to get 5 completely different ‘answers.’

Palm reading too. There is absolutely no way I am going to live by what my hand tells me. That’s psycho!  I am not going to live an ‘unfulfilling life’ because the indention in my palm tells me I will.

The people who live by this stuff, live by it because they like what they hear.  Horoscopes make your flaws seem less flawed.

Lately, I hear many people saying that the word love is overused, and I thought I agreed with this.  Until I actually thought about it.  I don’t believe the word love is overused.  I think it’s underused.  You look around and there’s so much hate and bitterness in today’s world.  In fact the people who think love it tossed around too much, also think there is too much hate in the world.  Instead of discouraging the people who say they love one another, why don’t we encourage that? Why don’t we learn a little something from them?  So I challenge anybody who reads this. Right now, go and tell somebody you love that you love them.  See where it gets you.
